Village of Clayton Part-time Clerk: If you are a highly motivated self‑starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask and you enjoy working in a busy office, this is the career opportunity for you. The ideal candidate will have experience with MS Word/Excel and exceptional interpersonal skills. Knowledge of bookkeeping is a plus. Previous experience in an office setting, especially in a municipal office environment, is an asset.

WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The Village of Clayton has issued the Notice to Proceed to contractors for the Water System Improvements Project, consisting of rehabilitation of the water treatment plant, painting the water tower, and installation of water mains along Route 12E, Zenda Road, Bartlett Point Road, and James Street (between State Street and Mary Street).
Contractors working on the project are: W.D. Malone Trucking & Excavating, Inc.; Continental Construction, LLC; S.C. Spencer Electric, Inc.; Hyde-Stone Mechanical Contractors, Inc.; and Global Contracting & Painting, Inc.
The project is expected to begin in September and will continue until the weather prevents further work, then will commence again in the spring of 2018. The Village appreciates your patience during this construction as we work to upgrade and enhance the reliability of our water supply infrastructure. PUBLIC NOTICE – NO ALL-NIGHT PARKING
Pursuant to the provisions of the Village of Clayton codification pertaining to all night parking, please take notice that the parking of vehicles is hereby prohibited on all highways within the Village between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM beginning November 1, 2017 and ending April 1, 2018. Parking violation fees are $15.00 per violation.
