Events Business Directory Economic Development Village Information History of Clayton
The Village of Clayton has benefitted from many improvements during the past ten years. Our wastewater disposal plant has been upgraded; a new well and water tower have been installed. Our two main streets have new sidewalks, curb and gutter. New water mains, new lighting and blacktop surfacing have also been installed. The Village sewage system was enlarged, enabling sewer lines to extend to residences surrounding Lake Magnor located a mile south of the Village. Two TIF Districts have been formed that provide space and facilities for new business locations. Our Village encourages development and is willing to help in any way if they can. We are interested in working with new businesses looking for a place to grow.
